Snow Goose: (Anser caerulescens)  Order: Anseriformes

Canadian Goose: (Branta canadensis) Order: Anseriformes
Characteristics: is a large species of goose with a black head and neck, white cheeks, white under its chin, and a brown body. Mallard: (​Anas platyrhynchos) Order: Anseriformes
Characteristics: The Mallard is a large and heavy-looking duck. It has a long body, and a long and broad bill. The male has a dark green head, a yellow bill, is mainly purple-brown on the breast and grey on the body. The female is mainly brown with an orange bill. Western Grebe: (​Aechmophorus occidentalis) Order: Podicipediformes
Characteristics: Western Grebes are crisp black and white, with a sharp transition between black and white extending down the neck. The head and most of the face are black, with white below the eye. American White Pelican: (Pelecanus erythrorhynchos) Order: Pelicaniformes
Characteristics: The American white pelican is about 5 feet in length and has a wingspan of about 9 feet across. They are white overall except for having black outer secondary and primary feathers on their wings. Adults during breeding season have a bright orange bill and a yellow crest. Picture:

Sandhill Crane: (Antigone canadensis)
​Order: Gruiformes
Characteristics: Sandhill Cranes are very large, tall birds with a long neck, long legs, and very broad wings. The bulky body tapers into a slender neck; the short tail is covered by drooping feathers that form a “bustle.” The head is small and the bill is straight and longer than the head. Great Blue Heron: (Ardea herodias) Order: Ciconiiformes Characteristics: ​The Great Blue Heron is the largest North American heron. These tall thin birds have long necks, bills, and legs and a very wide wingspan. Both sexes have similar coloration. The back is blue-gray, breast white with black streaks, and top of head white.
